Animation Film

Thursday, December 21
10 am to 12 pm
Age 6 to 9

Animation film is one of many forms of cinema, yet it brings to the fore what every film is at its very core: The illusion of movement based on single still images. Whether drawn, painted, scratched or creating a collage, whether there are humans, animals, objects or abstract shapes - Animation film transforms everything into movement. The program will delve into this vast ocean of possibilities and will make visible the endless varieties of storytelling and worldbuilding in Animation.

The short film program (30 mins) will be accompanied by discussions of the films.
