From April 1 to 8, 2002, the Film Museum celebrated the television work of one of the leading lights of New German Cinema, Alexander Kluge (*1932), with five compilations of the cultural programs he has produced for his own TV company, dctp, since the late 1980s. On April 6, Kluge appeared in conversation with Film Museum director Alexander Horwath and the then culture correspondent for the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard, Claus Philipp, to discuss his "Utopia of Television."
