Wien Modern: Works by Ulf Langheinrich and Norbert Pfaffenbichler

This November the Film Museum will again be one of the partners of the international festival for contemporary music Wien modern. The Vienna premères of two new digital works offer exciting examples of how musical and visual innovation can go hand in hand.
 

Ulf Langheinrich’s Drift.2 is a purely abstract "video film” accompanied by live music which studies the inner life of digital images. Norbert Pfaffenbichler's first feature notes on film 02, with music by composer Bernhard Lang, uses two actors to tell the story of an estranged relationship which keeps starting up anew.
