In 2025, the Austrian Film Museum has achieved a significant milestone: the successful move to the Film Museum LAB at the Vienna Arsenal. Approximately 85,000 film boxes and tens of thousands of posters, photographs, screenplays, and documents have been transferred to a new, professionally equipped, and sustainable facility. This project was made possible by the extraordinary dedication of our team, close collaboration with our partners, and the clear support of the federal government and the City of Vienna.
