Felix Salten and Cinema

September 16 to 18, 2021

Author Felix Salten (1869–1945) gained worldwide success with his book Bambi, which was adapted into an animated film by Walt Disney. As a key figure of Viennese modernism, Salten also contributed to cinema himself. Coinciding with the final days of the exhibition "Beyond Bambi. Felix Salten and the Discovery of Viennese Modernism" at the Wien Museum MUSA, the Film Museum will show three films along with an accompanying program.
