A former anti-Pinochet fighter, in-between his dreams on the bed of a darkened hotel room, tries to reactivate buried memories of clandestine knowledge. Calderón de la Barca's baroque drama Life is a Dream is the technical mnemonic device, which is recited and also staged in a theatrical performance in the film.
