To accompany the Haus der Geschichte Österreich's exhibition It's All Work: Women's Paid and Unpaid Labor (on view until January 10, 2027), we have selected two films from the 1970s. Each of these women filmmakers radically deals with the subject of unpaid, invisible (house)work mostly done by women: Chantal Akerman from Belgium and Marva Nabili from Iran.
