Child Cinema World

Age 6 to 9
Since its early days, cinema has been capturing different cultures and lifestyles and bringing them to people all over the world. Even today, documentary images and fictional stories continue to give us glimpses into other people's lives. A film's form is always an integral part of these glimpses. "Child Cinema World" will present short films from multiple decades and countries focusing on daily life and children's perspectives: the big screen as a child's gaze at the world. (sh)

The short film program (25 min) will be accompanied by discussions of the films.
