Labyrinthe des Films

Age 15 plus
Labyrinths of films are created when a movie connects its plot with thoughts on the medium itself. The result is characters stumbling through worlds that seem to exist solely within the medium. Sometimes it's just the audience that notices such structures, sometimes the characters themselves are aware that they came across the limits of their world. Thus intersections between avant-garde and narrative cinema are created. Intersections that give us the opportunity to question the medium itself as well as the relationship between film and reality.

The short film program (40 min) will be accompanied by discussions of the films.
