Curator's Tour at Albertina

It is with irony, humor, and an astute gaze that Richard Prince (b. 1949) exposes consumer society's imagery. The New-York-based artist has dealt with the visual codes and fictions of US-American popular culture since the 1970s, looking into the mechanisms of authorship, originality, and media representation. Curator Walter Moser will guide the tour and provide insights into the development and concept of the exhibition.

Curator's Tour at Photoinstitut Bonartes

With its slide show "Through Vienna's Districts of Misery and Crime" in May 1905, the Urania Adult Education Center set new standards: it marked the creation of one of the world's first social reportages to rely on the power of photography. Numerous items from the Film Museum's photo collection are on display in the exhibition Social Reportage as a Media Spectacle at Photoinstitut Bonartes.
