Many benefits for you – and your contribution supports our passionate work for film. Memberships can be purchased online at My Film Museum (registration required) or at our box office and are valid until the end of each year. To show our appreciation and enhance the value of your membership, we will be expanding the benefits for all our members from 2026 onwards.Memberships for 2026 are available and valid from December 15, 2025.
Membership Card (from 2026 onwards)
With the new Film Museum membership card – redesigned each year – you may bring a guest to the Film Museum for free twice a year.How to receive your membership card: If you pay at the box office, your card will be issued immediately. If you purchase your membership via My Film Museum, your card will be ready for collection at the ticket desk on the next business day. If you pay by bank transfer, your card will be ready for collection five business days later.
Please present your membership card at the ticket desk each time you visit the Film Museum.
Purchase and Reservation
Tickets can be purchased at the Film Museum box office and online (with or without registration) via our calendar or the film program descriptions. By registering under My Film Museum, you can enjoy all the benefits of your membership online (reduced admission rate, 10-ticket pass).
You can make reservations for screenings with the nonstop cinema subscription, but tickets for the screening can only be collected from the cinema box office on the day of the screening on presentation of your nonstop card.
Reserved tickets must be picked up no later than 30 minutes before the start of the respective screening. Otherwise your tickets will be passed on.
At the box office, in periods of high demand, only tickets for the corresponding screening will be sold starting 30 minutes prior to the screening, and reservations will no longer be accepted.
