Collaborative project: a digital restoration conducted by the German Film Institute & Film Museumin cooperation with the Austrian Film Museum and the CNC (Paris). The film was digitized at 2K resolution from well-preserved nitrate prints provided by CNC and the Austrian Film Museum. The sound, originally on disc, survived only in fragments. Within the digitization, image and sound were recombined again.
